This site is the
product of a 35 year hobby in genealogy. The entries are all related to me –
Russel Ernest Myers Jr. – or to my wife – Mary Ann Stoner Myers. The site is
dedicated to my children – Mark, Leslie, Brian and Matthew. As of 8 April 2012 there
are 77,843 individuals in 24,672 family groups.
Much of the information about close relatives was obtained from family members. The majority of information added over the last ten years has been from web sites (e.g. ancestry, roots web, familytree) maintained by our distant cousins. I appreciate all of their efforts and hope that some of my information is useful to them.
I use Personal Ancestral File (PAF) version 5.2.18.0 on my Windows 7 PC and soon
after I update my personal web site, I submit an updated GEDCOM file to
ancestry.com - "Myers & Stoner Families".
Common surnames in our
family are: Arnold, Barlow, Bunkley, Davis, DeLeon, Ferebee,
French,Gudat, Gwaltney, Kelly, Noll, Norsworthy, Palmer, Potts, and Toban.
