Pat Lankford:

Pat and Jeep Bryant married in 1962 and had two children, Jeep and Trish. Naming a son after dad eventually caused Dad to begin using his "legal" first name, Ron, and most people know him by that name today.

Meanwhile, the new Jeep grew up and now is a happy New Yorker, managing corporate affairs for Bank of New York Mellon. Daughter Trish, an admissions officer for Novant Healthcare, lives near Winston-Salem, NC with husband David Coburn and two boys, Mike and Daniel.

Pat and Jeep divorced in 1979, and both have remarried. Pat and Woody Baker have been married 30 years.

Pat's winding career path included going back to school twice, working as a hospital patient liaison, as a marketing vice president and owning her own desktop publishing business. In 2002 Pat by chance discovered her true calling when asked to teach a class at Queens University in Charlotte. Now she is a full-time Instructor at Davidson College, teaching communication. She has no plans for retirement -- finally doing work she loves.
