Kirk Scarborough:

After graduation I attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I married “high school sweetheart” Phyllis Jean Bondurant (PAHS ’61 ) on Nov.24th 1961. November 24, 2010, we will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We have three children: Mrs. Shira Leigh Smith, age 49, who resides in Menefee, CA; Bryan Kirkland Scarborough, age 44, who resides in Tampa, FL; and Kevin Dashield Scarborough, age 39, who resides in Menefee, CA. We have six grandchildren: Mrs. Amber Gaudy 29, Ms. Donielle Napier 27, Bryan Scarborough Jr. 25, Mrs. Felecia Jacks 23, Karissa Scarborough 11, and Madison Smith 7. We have two great grandchildren: Presleigh (age 2) & Lincoln (age 4 months) Gaudy.

My occupation has been an executive in marketing, sales and public relations. I am currently semi-retired.

My hobbies are member of the USCG Auxiliary, Division Officer for Public Affairs (PA); National PA Department; and cruising on our 36 ft cabin cruiser “SCARBOROUGH FAIR II”. I am a member of Masonic Lodge #218 Bayside, VA., El Bekel Shrine Temple, Anahiem, CA; Greater Los Angeles Speakers Association; USCG Auxiliary; and Friends of Bill W.

My most enjoyable time is spending quality time with our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phyllis and I just return from a 4 day cruise on the SCARBOROUGH FAIR II to Catalina Island, CA. with Madison & Karissa. We had a “Blast”!

I keep in Touch with PAHS Grads: Bryan Bennett, Ammon Tharp, Lew Dillion, Patsy Bazemore, Carol Prentiss, and truly miss my dear friend and Best Man in our wedding, Bill Beale, who passed away two years ago. My most enjoyable PAHS Times were dating Phyllis, the Kopy Kats and playing drums with the Saints Rock Band.
