Jim Tucker:
After getting an education in
college and an apprenticeship at Newport News Shipyard, I began work for
Westinghouse Electrical Corporation as a mechanical engineer. I worked
for Westinghouse for 20 years as a construction manager in several third world
countries and for 10 years as a repair plant manager. In 1998 I
retired but did consulting work for two multinational construction
companies in 2000. Personally, I got married, had three children - Craig,
Lynne and Laura, who are all successful and have their own families (seven
grandchildren for me!). My starter marriage didn't last but I remarried
and have been residing in McIntosh, AL with my wife of 33 years. My biggest
accomplishment occurred in 1993 when I started going back to church and began
volunteer work for the less fortunate. I am presently active in volunteer
work and with speaking on behalf of the Gideons.
