William Tucker:
Upon entering the workforce I joined the Ironworkers Union, Local 79, in Norfolk, Virginia. At age 25, I held the position of Superintendent in charge of installing the "Dome" on the Scope in downtown Norfolk. I continued to hold this position and was in charge of many large construction projects, that involved working with the US Government, NASA, GE and various power plants. After retirement from the union, I became a district manager for a large general contractor. I completely retired at age 61, so I could enjoy golf, fishing, going on cruises and spending time with my family and friends.
I have been married to Patricia Lee Savage Tucker for "50" wonderful years. We met at PAHS in 1958. Pat and I have two sons, Billy 47, Scott 43, four grandchildren, Raven 20, Jordan 19, Sterling 16 and Skylar 9. We all live in Chesapeake, Virginia.
