          descended to the said Joseph Norsworthy by the last will

          and testament of his father COL Tristram Norsworthy dec'd

          and containing three hundred and seventy five acres..."

7 November 1817 Deed (DB 23, P 349) from Joseph Chapman to John King

          "...tract of land lying in the said county of Isle of Wight

          bounded on the West by the lands of Henry Whitfield, on

          Northeast by the James River and on the South by a creek

          leading from the said James River to my garden near the

          causeway, containing three hundred and seventy six acres,

          be the same more or less, which said land the said Joseph

          Chapman purchased of Joseph Norsworthy..."
